The Ventura County Sheriff’s Emergency Services is responsible for operating the Ventura County Emergency Operations Center (EOC). One key key function of the EOC is providing logistical support to other county departments, cities, and special districts, during an emergency.

To provide this support at moment’s notice, the Sheriff’s Emergency Services maintains a variety of Basic Ordering Agreements with vendors. These agreements ensure fair market rates for goods and/or services are agreed upon in advance of an incident. Additionally, these agreements fast-track the ordering process with vendors ensuring negotiated pricing and service requirements.
